Pax 3 comes in two options: Complete Kit and Basic Kit.
Complete Kit comes with:
Basic Kit contains:
We strongly recommend the Complete Kit, if you have the budget, as it makes your Pax compatible with herbs, concentrates and even oils.
On the inside, Pax 3 is a simple conduction vaporizer with plenty of punch for even the most demanding of users.
On the outside, though, is where Pax 3 shines. As it’s small and beautifully finished, it works best for people who need on-demand vaping while on the go.
It fits perfectly in any hand and so you’ll quickly find that it’s one of the most discreet vaporizers on the market. It does that job incredibly well.
But in general, it’s the combination of quick heat up time (around 20 seconds), customizable vapor, portability as well as a gorgeous exterior that makes Pax 3 the most desirable portable vaporizer in the world.
Pax 3 produces strong vapor and full hits, due to its short vapor path and a powerful heating unit.
It has a short vapor path because it’s so small and, as the oven is at the bottom, the vapor goes straight up when you inhale. As with other conduction vapes, you can get more out of it you stir the herb material and take a bit more time between the hits.
If you’ll be taking direct draws with the Pax 3 (as most people do), don’t pack it super tight and the vapor will be milder as a result.
With that said, the oven takes up to 0.3 grams of plant material and the oven has a magnetic lid that shuts perfectly and stays put even when you’re out and about.
Pax 3 is controlled through its mouthpiece which also acts as a button (with haptic feedback). You can also heat it up through Bluetooth as Pax has a Google Play app — they used to have an iOS app as well, but it unfortunately hasn’t survived Apple’s crackdown on vaping apps.
The four petals located on the front face of the unit indicate the device temperature. According to the official guide from Pax:
Use lower temperatures for more flavor and higher temperatures for more clouds, but have in mind that most users consider the third temperature setting as the most balanced option.
In addition to these four temperature settings, Pax 3 has a Stealth Mode which optimizes the temperature between hits — meaning the device doesn't keep increasing the temperature when you're not using it but instead lowers it to decrease vapor production.
Pax 3 heats up in around 20 seconds and, depending on your vaping preferences, you can get up to 10 sessions per charge which means it has a significantly longer battery life than the Pax 2.
There is no getting around the fact that this vaporizer’s massive appeal comes from its looks.
Touted as the iPhone of the vaping world by many of its reviewers, Pax 3 is both sleek and minimalist, with the added advantage of being super portable at 93 grams.
Being easy to maintain (not a lot of moving parts) means that most users who buy Pax use it for years to come without it becoming boring.
